




Esben Klemann (b. 1972) graduated from Jutland Art Academy in 1990-1992 and from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1996-2002.
Klemann has participated in several group exhibitions eg 'Soil', SixtyEigt Art institute, 2017 (Copenhagen); 'Edge to Edge', Ikast Kunstpakhus with Lisbeth Eugine Rasmussen, 2016 (Ikast); 'Art 15', (London) and 'Cold Water' in the Blood, Bornholm Art Museum, 2013 (Bornholm). In 2014, Vejen Kunstmuseum curated a separate exhibition with Klemann's works and in 2009 Bornholm's Art Museum organized the solo exhibition 'New Shortcuts'. Klemann has created several public works - in 2017 he made a site-specific concrete sculpture for Odder College and later in 2018 he will finish a work in a roundabout in Bornholm's Regional Municipality. He has exhibited ceramic works at the Biennale International de ceramique de Châteauroux, 2017 (France). Klemann is represented in collections at, among others, Bornholm Art Museum and Vejen Art Museum.
