Jasper Sebastian Stürup (DK)
Jasper Sebastian Stürup (b. 1969) is educated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, Denmark where he graduated in 1999. Stürup mainly works with the drawing as his media, where the generosity of the figuration is explored in an often intimate and poetic universe.
Stürup has had solo exhibitions such as Today we escape at Horsens Art Museum in Horsens, Denmark Keeper (in collaboration with Yoshiaki Kaihatsu) at CCAA in Tokyo, Japan and Den Sorte Ræv at The Royal Library in Copenhagen, Denmark and is part of collections at MoMA in New York, USA, Arken Museum of Modern Art in Ishøj, Denmark Horsens Art Museum in Horsens, Denmark and MUST Stavanger Art Museum in Stavanger, Norway.
