JENS FERM SOLO EXHIBITION

Birthe Laursen Art Agency opens new solo exhibition with Jens Ferm January 24. The exhibition will show a line of works produced in the years 2013-2019.
Ferm has always had a minimalist approach to his paintings, where both nature as well as the human mind is explored in different ways. In the new line of works, various motifs are subtle hinted, through Ferm’s characteristic use of color that goes from light pastels to warm earth tones. Many of the motifs are symbols of the artist’s own experiences and thoughts of life, death and the break with the familiar and the secure.
Jens Ferm (b. 1960) is educated at the Academie des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where he still lives and works today. Ferm has had several solo exhibitions in both Paris, New York, Geneva, Stockholm and Copenhagen.
